The Whynter UIM-502SS / UIM-502SSa Stainless Steel Constructed-In Ice Maker complements any modern kitchen and bar area making 50 lbs of clear ice cubes in 24 hours and can store 25 lbs of ice. The stainless steel housing also ensures that you won’t get any smudges or prints on the ice creater, all the while keeping the unit safe from normal wear and tear.
CLEAR ICE CUBES
Minerals and deposits are removed by the water recirculation system and deposited in the water trough. Clear ice cubes are produced when clean water freezes to the ice grid and cascades down onto the ice tray from the distribution tube. In addition, fresh water is continuously pumped into the trough and circulated to produce clear cubes of the desired thickness and a steady stream of clean water.
