• Rough undried hemlock of grade 3 and Better • Hemlock is a harder and more resistant wood than spruce and pine • Light chestnut semi-hard wood, it can be stained or left in its raw state which will give it a metallic gray color over time • Used primarily outdoors, hemlock is an excellent choice due to its good resistance to weather and rot and requires little maintenance • Hemlock is sold “green” (undried) and in its raw state, which gives it a rustic chic appearance • Since hemlock is sold undried (green), its size will vary in thickness and width throughout the air drying process • Exterior uses: gardening boxes, sand squares, chicken coop construction, pergola structure, exterior cladding for agricultural buildings, sheds and garages, etc. • Interior uses: decorative columns and beams, accent walls, shelves and various furniture • Dimensions (T x W x L): 1” x 5” x 8′
