Kaneko Kohyo

Kaneko Kohyo was founded in 1921 by Ito Kohyo and began on a small mountain near Toki City in Gifu Prefecture. Originally Japan’s largest producer of tokkuri(sake serving flasks), Kaneko Kohyo’s history and traditions hark back to the much-admired local Mino-yaki pottery styles. While preserving these historic techniques and styles, Kaneko Kohyo now strives to create unused items that meet and exceed the expectations of discerning consumers seeking originality, beauty, and functionality for their dining and entertaining experiences.
